Entry-level to High-level skills in welding, or no welding experience
May train under Welder II or Welder III
Performs basic welding under supervision
Performs basic assembly under supervision
Required to take welding qualification tests
Requires supervision for most tasks
Prepares materials and helps with setups
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS
No educational background or basic welding degree
0-2 years of related welding experience
Some drawing interpretation experience
Basic understanding of assembly and fabrication
WELDING REQUIREMENTS
Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW)
Torch Brazing
Materials: stainless-steel alloys, steels, copper and copper alloys, high nickel alloys, super-austenitic stainless-steels
