Position Requirements:

  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Previous hospital imaging experience – Highly Preferred
  • Ability to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients of all ages
  • Strong knowledge of radiologic imaging principles, patient positioning, and radiation safety
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Proficiency with computer systems and medical imaging software

Education, License & Certification Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program – Required
  • Current ARRT Certification (appropriate imaging modality) – Required
  • Active Oregon Radiologic License or valid temporary Oregon permit (must obtain permanent registry within one year if applicable) – Highly Preferred
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association) – Required
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree – Preferred
  • Image Wisely Certificate – Preferred (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
  • Image Gently Certificate – Preferred (or obtain within 30 days of hire)

Job Description:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic medical imaging examinations for patients across all age groups.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following established imaging protocols and radiation safety standards.
  • Operate radiology equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Verify physician orders and accurately document imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Assist in coordinating daily patient flow and department workflow.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and report any operational concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, infection control practices, and departmental policies.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Participate in continuing education and perform additional duties as assigned.
