Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking an RN Labor & Delivery for a 13-week travel/contract position in Coos Bay, OR. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Pay Rate: Range $2520 to $2556 Weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: L&D

Shifts available: Nights

Schedule: 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 Shifts per week, including EOW, On-call: TBD; Flexibility to work days (7a-7.30a) if scheduling demands

Position Requirements:

• 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience  - Required
  
• Current Fetal Heart Monitoring experience - Required 
  
• OBIX & Epic experience - Preferred 
  
• Travel experience – Preferred
  

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN - Required
  
• BSN – Preferred
  
• RN License for State of Oregon - Required (Can be obtained upon offer)
  
• BLS, NRP Certifications - Required (Can be obtained upon offer)
  
• EFM and STABLE Certifications - Preferred ​
  

Job Description:

• Coordinates total nursing care for patients in the clinical setting for assigned units within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients.
  
• Provides teaching for patients and significant others.
  
• Participates in treatment team meetings and administers medication and prescribed treatments
  
• Exhibits critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  
• Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
  
• Documents patient care in the medical record.
  
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall care of the patient effectively.
