Job DetailsJob Location: Coppell TX WEC - Coppell, TX 75019Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: Up to 75%Job Shift: DayJob Category: SalesAs Director of Sales II for Merrychef, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategy and processes and achieving sales revenue targets across all sales channels including direct field sales, indirect field (Channel/Partner/Distributor) sales, account management, sales training, and sales operations/administration for your assigned region.   You would bring to this role your prior foodservice equipment experience, knowledge of the food service equipment industry, and experienced track record working with food service manufacturers reps, food service dealer, food service consultants and end users.   Reporting directly to the Merrychef US VP Sales, this remote position is based in Coppell, TX.   Major Accountability: Lead/Manage commercial activities via employees & rep agents to deliver financial objectives (sales/margin) that grow the business in assigned Region of the USA. Develop, manage and prioritize commercial sales funnel, relationships, and opportunities with updates to leadership. Lead execution of sales/customer strategies in compliance with policies and processes and procedures of the business. Built/strengthen relationships with key internal and external business partners to delivery industry leading solutions for customers. Develop/build relationships with strategic customers (end users) to develop and profitably grow the business. Initiate, monitor, and assess commercial test opportunities with key customers.   Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Executes defined sales policies, processes and procedures consistently across the country/region. Builds relationship with key business partners (buying groups, dealers, consultants, authorized servicers, factories). Negotiates pricing and programs with key customers/business partners in the best interest of the Company. Provides product training, as needed, to develop commercial opportunities. Develops sales strategies and tactics and lead execution towards delivery of financial targets/objectives. Develops annual sales plan with regional/individual targets. Provides regular and ongoing interface with Product Management, Marketing, Culinary, and Aftermarket Service to develop and deliver solutions to customers. QualificationsEducation and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or relevant area is required. 8 years’ experience in Sales, Sales Management, Leading Sales Team is required. Prior foodservice equipment experience required, knowledge of the food service equipment industry and experienced track record working with food service manufacturers reps, food service dealer, food service consultants and end users. Prior Culinary experience is a plus.   Skill and Abilities: Strong negotiation skills and business/financial acumen. Strong presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time domestically and internationally. Valid passport and drivers license required. Must be able to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
