BEHIND EVERY LEGEND IS A FLAWLESS FOUNDATION.
EVERY LEARNER WHO GROWS HERE
starts in a system you built and maintain.
DuraServ is looking for an LMS Administrator who runs the platform with precision — configuring, publishing, troubleshooting, reporting, and governing the learning infrastructure that every team member depends on.
The Learning Platform Only Works If Someone Makes It Work.
DuraServ operates across nine regions with hundreds of technicians, sales professionals, branch leaders, and corporate team members — all of whom depend on the learning management system for onboarding, compliance training, certifications, and professional development. When the LMS runs well, learning happens. When content isn't published correctly, assignments aren't loading, or reports aren't accurate, everyone feels it.
As LMS Administrator, you own the day-to-day operations of DuraServ's learning management system — configuration, user support, content lifecycle management, taxonomy governance, AI-enabled feature administration, reporting, and continuous improvement. You're not the person who creates the courses. You're the person who ensures the platform, the data, and the learner experience behind every course are exactly what they need to be.
If you take pride in a learning platform that runs cleanly, reports accurately, and never makes a learner feel like the system is working against them — this role was built for you.
What You'll Own
The Platform
- Manage day-to-day LMS operations — system configuration, user support, permissions, course publication, learning assignments, and data accuracy across the full platform
- Load, configure, test, publish, maintain, review, update, archive, and retire learning content, courses, curricula, certifications, surveys, and AI-enabled learning features in accordance with organizational standards
- Troubleshoot LMS technical issues, respond to user inquiries, resolve access and completion concerns, and escalate to vendors or internal partners when needed — your response time and accuracy determine whether a learner's experience recovers quickly or compounds into a larger issue
- Evaluate, coordinate, and support LMS enhancements, upgrades, integrations with HCM platforms, AI-enabled capabilities, and new feature deployment with vendors and internal technology partners
The Governance
- Maintain the enterprise learning taxonomy, catalog structure, metadata standards, functional skills architecture, and content governance framework — your structure determines whether learners can find what they need and whether reports mean anything
- Support data integrity, AI solution readiness, and system administration standards by auditing LMS records, validating learning data, and monitoring configuration practices
- Create and maintain LMS documentation, user guides, job aids, process documentation, and administrator training materials for learners, instructors, managers, and administrators
The Insights & Partnership
- Develop, analyze, and distribute LMS reports, dashboards, and AI-supported learning insights to evaluate participation, completion, compliance, survey feedback, and program effectiveness — your data tells the story of whether learning is working
- Deliver LMS training and guidance on system functionality — including AI-enabled tools — to promote effective adoption and a positive learning experience across the organization
- Partner with key business stakeholders to support enterprise-wide learning journeys, compliance training, leadership development, and other learning initiatives
Who You Are
You don't let content sit in draft. You don't let reports go stale. And you don't let a taxonomy that made sense two years ago create confusion today.
- An LMS operations expert — you've administered learning management systems at an enterprise level; course publication, user management, permissions, and reporting are your working environment
- A governance professional — you understand that a well-structured taxonomy and clean metadata are what make a platform scalable; you build and maintain that structure with intention
- A skilled troubleshooter — when a learner can't access a course or a completion isn't recording, you diagnose the issue, resolve it, and prevent the next occurrence
- An AI-aware administrator — you understand how AI-enabled LMS features work and can evaluate, configure, and support intelligent content recommendations, learning analytics, and learner support tools
- Detail-obsessed — data integrity, audit accuracy, and configuration standards all reflect the same standard: correct, complete, and current
- A calm, service-oriented communicator — learners, managers, and business stakeholders come to you with problems; you respond with solutions and a professional tone regardless of the volume or urgency
- Adaptable — technology changes, business priorities shift, and platform capabilities evolve; you keep pace without losing accuracy or quality
What We're Looking For
Required
- 7+ years of related experience in LMS administration, learning technology, talent development operations, HR systems, training coordination, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience administering learning management systems — managing course content, supporting users, configuring the platform, and generating LMS reports
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities accurately in a fast-paced HR environment
- Clear communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences — learners, managers, business leaders, and vendor partners
Preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with AI-enabled LMS features — intelligent content recommendations, learning analytics, automation, and learner support tools
- Background in content governance, taxonomy management, metadata standards, or learning catalog architecture
- Experience supporting HCM platform integrations and vendor-managed LMS upgrades and enhancement releases
What's in It for You
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience
- Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, and 401K with company match
- Company-provided life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
- A platform to own and improve — taxonomy, governance, AI features, integrations, and reporting are all yours to shape
- Direct partnership with the Talent Management team and visibility to HR, business, and technology leadership
- A stable, office-based environment at DuraServ Corporate in Coppell, TX with no travel requirement
- An organization investing in AI-enabled learning technology — you'll be at the center of how that capability develops
A Note to the Right Candidate.
If you've been in an LMS role where the platform worked because of your configurations, your governance, and your willingness to troubleshoot problems before they became complaints — you understand exactly what this role requires.
DuraServ's learning platform is the infrastructure behind every new hire who onboards successfully, every technician who earns a certification, and every manager who completes compliance training on time. When it runs right, nobody thinks about it. That's the goal — and it takes a serious administrator to make it happen.
Behind every legend is a flawless foundation. Come build it with us.
