Oil Change Shop Manager

Take 5 Oil Change is offering an opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and join our growing team as a Shop Manager. Experience is valued but not required. Experienced managers can earn $55,000 a year or more with base salaries and bonus opportunities. Paid training is provided on managing a shop location, changing oil, replacing wiper blades/air filters, filling air in tires, and performing other light maintenance services. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new crew members; creating crew schedules and submitting payroll; controlling inventory including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventory; placing product orders and restocking inventory; understanding the shop’s financials to drive results and utilize budget wisely; conducting quarterly employee evaluations; supporting crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services; draining motor oil, changing oil filters, and performing other auto services as necessary; and providing excellent customer service. Requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist for extended periods, work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary, have reliable transportation, willingness to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week occasionally, and basic computer skills.
