This means that the Senior Project Manager will participate in the RFP process to win a project, once the project is won, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for preparing the project files, preparing the project schedule, finalizing contractual agreements with subconsultants, setting up project budgets in our project management and accounting software, managing the subconsultants and project schedule, managing internal staff, and tracking the project progress. Responsibilities: Follow a standard process, as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Initiate the Project – Understand project, prepare budgets and schedules, and select teams and resources. Plan the Project - Set goals and objectives, define roles and produce schedules and timelines for tasks, in accordance with the needs of your client. Manage the Project - Coordinate the project team to keep them on track, monitor the project on budget and schedule, prepare monthly update reports, prepare monthly invoices, and review and approve monthly accounts payables for the project. Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time Implement any necessary changes throughout the process Report regularly to management and the client Close the Project – Prepare all final close-out documents, evaluate successes and challenges, prepare final closeout report wich defines successes and challenges, which will be used to improve future performance. Weekly update of all projects to direct supervisor. Updates include progress, stage of project, and next steps. Additional duties as assigned by management QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience: Florida Professional Engineer license.  Undergraduate degree in engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Structural). 10+ years of experience in engineering, designing, or construction. 7-10 years of experience in personnel and cost/financial management.  Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) Experience in the operational aspects, services, and activities of a comprehensive civil engineering program, particularly in the design, construction, inspection, and contract administration of stormwater system, water, and wastewater facilities projects, is highly advantageous.  A comprehensive understanding of both the permitting procedures and regulatory requirements, including familiarity with administrative codes, for a specific engineering discipline is essential. Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D  Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders. Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
