- Demonstrates knowledge and ability to care for age specific needs of the population served as measured by completion of mandatory training.
- Provides adequate staffing with appropriately licensed personnel as outlined in the policy and procedure manual.
- Maintains effective communications among the healthcare team
- Ensures staff education, implementation, and monitoring of protocols and policy compliance.
- Orients staff on employment and as needed to technical procedures, protocols, and policies.
- Reviews technical work performed and verifies that it meets standards for completeness and accuracy.
- Reviews work performed regularly to ensure that it is completed within acceptable timeframes as outlined in the policy and procedure manual.
- Other job duties as assigned and as needed.
Associates or Bachelors Degree Preferred
II. Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years experience in a respiratory care in a hospital setting.
Three (3) years of critical care experience.
One (1) year supervisory experience preferred.
III. License/Certification:
Current state of Florida License as a CRT, RRT, or RCPCC is required.
Current BLS certifications from the American Heart Association
