POSITION SUMMARY:
The PC Assembler I is responsible for entry level electronic assembly functions in a production environment.

- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares boards to be assembled by studying work instructions, procedures, blueprint specifications, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Assembles and inspects assemblies under magnification in accordance with standardized processes, procedures and methods.
- Performs adjustments or replacements of component parts.
- Reads and interprets drawings, specifications or written instructions.
- Recognizes subtle functional problems, defective parts or other abnormalities.
- Handles various types of assemblies and must be able to learn to perform any new assembly task.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Proficiency with soldering iron and have lead trimming skills preferred.

- Must be quality conscious and possess ability to meet production and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of assembly related experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Light Work- This role may require exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up 10 pounds of force frequently to lift carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Most essential functions are performed while sitting but walking and standing is occasionally required.
- Manual dexterity is required in the assembly or fabrication of parts which may result in the repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Visual acuity is required for visual inspection of boards involving small defects, small parts, using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
