Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
Set up and run multiple machines
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to drive efficiency and cost savings
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot issues as they arise and propose innovative solutions
Embrace new technologies and stay updated on industry advancements

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC machinist, with expertise in machine setup and operation
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated success in machining precision parts for military and aerospace applications.
Required expertise in reading mechanical drawings and precisely interpreting tolerances and GD&T specifications.
Comprehensive knowledge of machining centers and controllers, with specific expertise in Makinos and Mazaks.
Proficiency in using precision measurement tools
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to adapt to change and embrace new technologies
Be willing to be part of the company’s change in growth
Be eager to take on challenges and not sit on the sidelines
