Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a hands-on career with long-term growth opportunities? At Vetter's Culligan Water, we provide the training, tools, and support you need to become a skilled Service Technician in the water treatment industry.
As an Apprentice Service Technician, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to learn how to install, maintain, and repair water treatment equipment in homes and businesses throughout Eastern Iowa.
This is a full-time career opportunity with a four-day workweek, no nights or weekends, and the potential to earn commission in addition to your hourly pay.

Work-Life Balance

What You’ll Do
As an Apprentice Service Technician, you will:
- Â Assist with diagnosing and repairing water treatment equipmentÂ
- Â Learn to install water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and filtration equipmentÂ
- Â Perform preventive maintenanceÂ
- Â Complete service paperwork accuratelyÂ
- Â Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipmentÂ
- Â Provide outstanding customer serviceÂ
- Â Identify opportunities to recommend beneficial products and services to customersÂ
What We’re Looking For
- Â High school diploma or GEDÂ
- Â Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnÂ
- Â Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or other technical experience is a plusÂ
- Â Strong communication and customer service skillsÂ
-  Ability to lift and move 50–75 lbsÂ
-  Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordÂ
