Position Summary

The Driver Onboarding Analyst is a key player in the driver experience pipeline — serving as the primary point of contact for owner-operators from conditional approval through lease execution. This role owns the onboarding workflow: coordinating documentation, guiding drivers through each step of the process, managing truck qualification paperwork, and ensuring every driver crosses the finish line with clarity and confidence. You will work closely with recruiting, operations, and compliance teams to keep the pipeline moving and the driver experience exceptional.


Key Responsibilities

Driver Communication & Experience

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new owner-operators from conditional approval through their first load
  • Proactively communicate with drivers via phone and email to guide them through each onboarding step, setting clear expectations and timelines
  • Deliver a professional, welcoming experience that reflects Bridgeway’s commitment to driver relationships
  • Identify and flag potential drop-off points in the onboarding pipeline and work with leadership to resolve friction

Lease & Onboarding Workflow Coordination

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding checklist for each driver, tracking completion status across all required steps (background, MVR, DAC, employment verification, truck documents, orientation, lease execution)
  • Coordinate truck documentation review, ensuring equipment meets Bridgeway’s qualification standards prior to lease signing
  • Schedule and confirm road tests, orientations, and lease signing appointments, proactively managing the calendar to minimize delays
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the applicant tracking and onboarding systems; escalate incomplete or disqualifying information per established protocols
  • Work cross-functionally with recruiting, safety/compliance, and dispatch teams to ensure a seamless handoff from onboarding to active operations
  • Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities to reduce time-to-lease and improve driver completion rates


Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing, coordination, or administrative role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable managing high call and email volume
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple active files simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and comfortable learning new platforms quickly

Preferred

  • Experience in trucking, logistics, or a driver-facing operations environment
  • Familiarity with owner-operator onboarding, lease agreements, or driver qualification file (DQF) requirements
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems or onboarding platforms (Ten Street or similar a plus)
  • Associate’s degree or higher


What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will be measured on:

  • Time-to-lease: average days from conditional approval to executed lease
  • Onboarding completion rate: percentage of conditionally approved drivers who reach active status
  • Driver satisfaction: quality of the onboarding experience as reflected in driver feedback
  • Documentation accuracy: clean, complete driver qualification files with no compliance gaps
