Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your career while working with an extraordinary team? At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do. We are seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to join our Adult Behavioral Health team in Coraopolis, PA.

 

Position Details

The Program Coordinator supports the Program Director in overseeing daily operations at our Extended Acute Care (EAC) facility for adults with chronic mental illness. This role ensures effective staff support, training compliance, and program development, while maintaining high standards of care and organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and support to psychiatric technicians. 
  • Coordinate and perform new hire on-boarding, orientation, and training. 
  • Monitor/coordinate/track annual training requirements. 
  • Monitor scheduling needs and coordination of shift coverage related to general scheduling, time off requests, etc. 
  • Assist with hiring process and monitoring of candidate through the credentialing process. 
  • Assist with staff and program development.
  • Assists with preparing for site visits and audits to ensure training records are up to date. 
  • Assist with program coverage, if needed. 
  • Participate in PQI efforts. 
  • Share administrator on call duties.

Qualifications
  • Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services, or a similar discipline is required.
    • Experience working with individuals with chronic mental illness strongly preferred.
    • Prior management experience is preferred.
