What You’ll Do

  • Lead and supervise solar installation crews on residential job sites.
  • Oversee the full installation process, ensuring projects are completed on time and to quality standards.
  • Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety protocols, and applicable codes.
  • Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other teams to keep projects on track.
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide guidance to team members in real time.
  • Train, mentor, and support crew members to improve performance and skill development.
  • Conduct site assessments and verify readiness for installation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
  • Document project progress with photos and notes.

A Typical Day

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of solar installation experience required
  • Prior experience in a crew lead or supervisory role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of solar installation practices and safety standards
  • Ability to read plans, layouts, and technical specifications
  • Comfortable working on rooftops and at heights
  • Ability to lift 40–50 lbs regularly
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
