Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. Â The hourly salary for this role ranges from $20.77 - $25.96 per hour for those enrolled in bachelor programs and $34.62 per hour for those in a master program.
Position Overview:Â
This internship supports customer‑facing training, product support, and internal knowledge initiatives across engineering services, offering hands-on experience working with cross‑functional teams and electrical utilities on real‑world deployments while learning utility technologies and building technical, collaborative, and ownership-driven skills.  In this internship, you will: Â
•   Build and maintain analytics and productivity solutions, including Power BI dashboards and Microsoft Copilot‑based tools for targeted project needs
•   Capture and translate subject‑matter expertise into clear, structured internal documentation, training materials, and a shared knowledge base
•   Create, maintain, and optimize learning and customer‑facing content within the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accuracy, clarity, and reusability for internal and external use.Â
•   Support active customer projects and technical initiatives, including procedure reviews, firmware rollout support, validation, and customer support activities
This internship will help prepare you for both technical and future leadership roles at Eaton. As an intern, you will be provided with a structured training and development curriculum; a blend of instructor-led, virtual classrooms, eLearning courses, and on-the-job training provided by expert mentors and team members to assist you in developing your career.Â
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
•   Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program from an accredited institution
•   Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 (please don't round)

Preferred Qualifications:
•   Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in a technical program (Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Communication, Education or similar) from an accredited institution
•   Overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
•   Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community
•   Demonstrated customer facing experience is preferred.Â
•   Prior electrical utility/power industry related experienceÂ

Position Criteria:
•   Transportation to and from the worksite, and for incidental business travel, is the responsibility of the intern.Â
•   Strong analytical, computer, organization, communication and presentation skills. Â
•   Performs physically demanding tasks, requirement to stand, walk, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach above, to, and below shoulder level, lift, carry, push, pull, and use hands to handle and feel. Frequently required to climb and regularly required to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds; occasionally required to push/pull greater than 50 pounds with assistance. May be required to drive extended distances, work in extreme weather and temperature conditions, work at sites with areas that have poor lighting, ventilation, and dust and/or be exposed to high noise levels.  Â
•   The summer internship culminates with a formal presentation where participants showcase their success stories to leaders of the organization and receive feedback on their performance.
