General Labor Cleaning

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean / vacuum Foundry aisles, stairways, and traffic areas.

• Operates industrial vacuum cleaning in production areas:

• Clean under mold dump conveyor and dump stations – as required

• Clean the aisle by the mold dump conveyor – daily

• Clean elevator pit – daily

• Clean the top floor of the tower – weekly

• Clean the crusher screen deck in the tower – weekly

• Clean the deck above the mullor – daily

• Clean the mullor deck – daily

• Clean under the mullor deck and around mullor discharge belt – daily

• Clean under and around the dust collector – daily

• Clean the catwalk – weekly

• Clean the catwalk by the aerators – daily

• Clean behind the production office – weekly

• Clean by the core machines – weekly

• Clean area behind furnace charge conveyor (both sides) – weekly

• Clean area around SO2 Scrubber – weekly

• Other duties may be assigned.

• 5S cleaning activities as assigned.

• Painting as assigned.

• Winter sidewalk maintenance as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Production Worker/Finisher Skill and Education Requirements:

Basic reading and math skills

Able to understand and follow instructions and procedures

Understand and abide all safety procedures, quality policies, specifications, and instructions

Other tasks assigned by management personnel

Adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by the company handbook

Required

Must pass pre-employment drug screening. Must have reliable transportation.

Job Type

This is a full-time, Hourly position.
