Job Summary
The Maintenance Tech will be responsible for regular inspections and repairs of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing and other building systems. The working hours for this position are 7am - 3:30pm.Â
Duties/Responsibilities
- Completes assigned maintenance tasks while maintaining a safe work environment
- Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed
- Works with Maintenance Lead to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks
- Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments
- Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and in a timely manner
- Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least three years of maintenance experience required
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance
- Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed
- Must be able to lift 55 pounds at a time
