POSITION OVERVIEW

Burn Boot Camp is one of the fastest-growing fitness franchises in the country, with 350+ open locations and a mission to transform lives through community, fitness, and customer experience.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HQ Gyms Opening & Brand Standards Manager to support the successful opening, transition, and ongoing operational excellence of HQ Gym locations. This role serves as the subject matter expert for operational systems, compliance, and Brand Standards, ensuring every gym is properly configured, fully compliant, and delivering the Burn Boot Camp experience.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and takes ownership from problem identification through resolution. This position works closely with General Managers and multiple HQ departments to support new gym openings, resale transitions, systems compliance, and Brand Standards execution across the HQ Gym portfolio.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary operational support partner for HQ Gym openings and resale transitions.
  • Manage opening timelines, system setup, compliance requirements, and operational readiness for new locations.
  • Coordinate technology platforms, vendor orders, and operational processes to ensure successful gym launches.
  • Act as a liaison between General Managers and HQ departments including IT, Marketing, Finance, Construction & Design, HR, and Learning & Development.
  • Conduct ongoing systems audits across operating gym locations to ensure compliance with company standards and platform requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain operational systems including MindBody, LoopSpark, DOMO, SOCi, and FranConnect.
  • Review monthly facility walkthrough reports and identify opportunities to improve Brand Standards compliance.
  • Coordinate remediation efforts for signage, equipment, flooring, maintenance, and other facility-related needs.
  • Track compliance issues through resolution and maintainaccurate audit and compliance records.
  • Support ownership transitions and resale locations by auditing systems, transferring access, and ensuring operational readiness.
  • Provide in-gym operational support and coaching when needed to improve Brand Standards, Blue Carpet Experience, and overall gym performance.
  • Partner with leadership to identify trends, recommend solutions, and support continuous operational improvement across HQ Gym locations.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate for this role is a highly organized, systems-fluent operator who thrives in fast-moving environments, takes ownership without being asked, and communicates clearly across multiple stakeholders simultaneously. They are equally comfortable building a LoopSpark automation, reviewing a GM walkthrough report and placing the order that resolves it, and mentoring a new GM through their first week. They do not hand
off problems — they solve them.

  • Strong working knowledge of Burn Boot Camp's core operating systems — MindBody, LoopSpark, DOMO, FranConnect, and Burn Support Portal — or demonstrated ability to master complex multi-platform systems environments quickly
  • Exceptional organizational skills — able to manage multiple active opening timelines, compliance audit cycles, and resale transitions simultaneously without dropping details
  • Strong written and verbal communication — able to translate complex systems and compliance requirements into clear, actionable guidance for GMs at all experience levels
  • High accountability and follow-through — this role owns timelines and checklists that directly affect Grand Opening performance; missed deadlines have real consequences
  • Collaborative and low-ego — works across departments, supports GMs without taking over, and escalates
appropriately rather than solving everything alone
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a rapidly changing environment — HQ Gyms is a growing department and this role will evolve as the portfolio scales

Preferred

  • Prior experience in a Burn Boot Camp operational role — as a General Manager, Operations Manager, or in a Burn HQ support function
  • Experience supporting new location openings in a franchise or multi-unit environment
  • Familiarity with EOS/Traction operating system concepts — Rocks, L10 meetings, scorecards
  • Experience with CRM platforms and marketing automation
  • Background in compliance, quality assurance, or operational auditing
  • Experience with vendor management, purchasing, or facilities coordination — comfortable sourcing quotes, placing orders, and tracking delivery for equipment, signage, or physical materials
  • Working knowledge of Burn Boot Camp's Construction & Design Manual, Brand Standards, and required vendor relationships
