What You'll Do:

  • Deliver PCA training in accordance with NYSDOH regulations and agency standards in locations such as Corning, Bath, and Hornell with potential for occasional travel to other southern tier areas including Binghamton.
  • Mentor and support personal care aides
  • Complete onsite employee evaluations in the field
  • Manage LMS systems, attendance tracking, and training documentation
  • Participate in CQI initiatives, audits, and quality improvement efforts
  • Provide intermittent home visits
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve classroom and staffing issues
  • Contribute to curriculum updates and regulatory compliance
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Collaborating with training, workforce, and community partners to ensure grant deliverables are met
  • Travel required

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • NYS Licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • At least 1 year of Home Care experience (regulatory requirement - individuals without this experience can not be considered)
  • A graduate of an accredited nursing school holding a Diploma, Bachelor's, or Master's Degree.
  • Two years experience as a registered nurse.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the roles and responsibilities within both professional and paraprofessional healthcare practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, patients, or agency employees.
  • Strong organizational writing skills, effective communication abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.
