S/He will promote a safe and welcoming working environment to achieve maximum guest satisfaction. The Restaurant/Banquet Supervisor will work with the Restaurant Manager and Food & Beverage Director to ensure maximum efficiency. The Restaurant/Banquet Supervisor shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the Hotels Culture and Core Hotels & Resorts Core Values. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Achieve customer satisfaction and compliance with policies/procedures in the Outlets Train, coach and assist associates in the Food & Beverage operations Monitor performance and recommend corrective action Alert management of potentially serious issues Respond to customer needs and rectify any guest issues Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of the various outlets to ensure safe work environment Oversee cash handling and check/credit policies and procedures Conduct pre-shift meetings to inform staff of daily events Promote teamwork and quality service Routinely greet guests, serve food and beverage and service other outlets departments Perform other duties as assigned ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Achieve customer satisfaction and compliance with policies/procedures in the Outlets Train, coach and assist associates in the Food & Beverage operations Monitor performance and recommend corrective action Alert management of potentially serious issues Respond to customer needs and rectify any guest issues Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of the various outlets to ensure safe work environment Oversee cash handling and check/credit policies and procedures Conduct pre-shift meetings to inform staff of daily events Promote teamwork and quality service Routinely greet guests, serve food and beverage and service other outlets departments Perform other duties as assigned QualificationsEXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent education Minimum of 2 years of employment in the F&B industry Prior hotel experience a plus Highly organized and detail-oriented Exceptional guest-focus Fluency in other languages beneficial JOB REQUIRMENTS: Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit, be able to read, write, and speak English and have exceptional communication skills, both oral and written Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written Must have basic computer skills, and have basic mathematical skill for report / forecast preparation and have strong problem-solving, reasoning, motivational, organizational and training skills Must be alert to the customers needs and work well under pressure Must be professional in appearance and demeanor Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends and holidays Must be able to manage time effectively while working with minimal supervision. Must have to the ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays. Must have the ability to resolve problems, conflicts in a tactful and diplomatic manner
