Job Details

Contract terms, schedule of values, license numbers (contractor & business), billing requirements, insurance requirements

• Obtaining and tracking that contract is properly and fully executed
• Project setup in accounting system
• File & store all supporting documentation
• Track and respond to Preliminary Notices, Releases, Liens, Stop Notices and Notices of Completion
• Work with Project Managers to generate all billings timely within contract specifications and setup in accounting system for tracking
• Responsible for collection of billed invoices and recording receipt in accounting system and maintaining status of aging reports
• Close out project and ensure all paperwork is completed and properly filed (warranty letters, unconditional final releases)
• Deal with resellers permit and sales tax tracking and submission to state as many of the contracts will be supplying finished product that is shipped directly to customer rather than built-in place.
• Flexibility to work on other special accounting related projects
• Job cost accounting system experience (Sage 300 / Timberline preferred)
