The Opportunity:


CACI is actively seeking a Senior Engineering Technician for the AEGIS Weapon System to act as a subject matter expert in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona. The subject matter expert will provide expertise in support of Naval weapons systems.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Select and adapt plans, techniques, designs, or layouts
  • Validation of source data prior to loading into Material Readiness Assessment (MRA) databases.
  • Reviewing Fleet Failure data for accuracy and relevancy.
  • Contact personnel in related activities to resolve problems and coordinate work.
  • Review, analyze, and integrate the technical work of others.
  • Conduct Data validation and analyze results.
  • Report results and prepare layouts, detailed specifications, parts lists, estimates, procedures, etc.
  • Analyze technical data to determine applicability to design problems.
  • Calculate design data and prepare necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Must have US Navy CIWS experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a Navy Fire Controlman.
  • Strong proficiency in electronics design, testing, and analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance.

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.​
 

Minimum Required Hourly Wage:

$31.99
