Chaplain- Mirador

We are currently seeking a Chaplain to:

• Make visits to residents who call Mirador home and residents during hospitalization and follow-up care.
• Attend and support families during funeral/ memorial services.
• Provide spiritual care to residents of all faiths with sensitivity and respect for all faith traditions, with the goal of enabling residents to utilize their own faith as a resource for health and healing.
• Utilize resources of local congregations to assist in meeting the spiritual needs of residents, families and staff at Mirador.
• Schedule and coordinate worship services in the community Chapel and conduct worship services as needed.

Qualifications

Training and Experience

• Three years’ experience in a field related to Chaplaincy, Practical Ministry and/or Pastoral Care.

Job Knowledge

• Considerable knowledge of computer use, including e-mail, word processing and spreadsheet programs, and ability to learn relevant facility software.
• Knowledgeable of Pastoral Care and Services as they relate to a non-profit, church-related institution.
