Janitorial

The Nascence Group is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor/Facility Maintenance Technician who will maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and general appearance of the office building, garage offices, restrooms, kitchen, entrances, and assigned exterior areas. The employee also performs accessible interior and exterior window cleaning and routine filter inspection and replacement.

Job Title: Janitor

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Duration: Part-time

Schedule: Tuesdays and Fridays, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

General Janitorial Cleaning

• Empty trash cans and paper shredders in the office and garage and transport waste to the exterior dumpster.
• Pick up trash around the building, front entrance, stairs, and fenced area.
• Dust desks, chairs, tables, cabinets, shelves, windowsills, baseboards, doors, computers, printers, fire extinguishers, and other exposed surfaces.
• Spot-clean walls, partitions, doors, handrails, woodwork, and other surfaces.
• Clean and polish metal fixtures, push plates, kick plates, and door hardware.
• Clean light fixtures and accessible HVAC supply and return grilles as needed.
• Complete and submit the required cleaning checklist after each workday.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, or building-maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to clean windows and safely use basic cleaning equipment.
• Ability to identify, clean, and replace standard HVAC and drinking-fountain filters.
• Ability to follow product instructions, safety requirements, and written schedules.
• Ability to complete cleaning checklists and maintenance logs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to work with limited supervision.
