We offer competitive pay and career advancement based on performance.     We pride ourselves in offering a premier benefits package which includes:   Very competitive compensation 401(k) plan with company match Company paid health and dental insurance plans Basic life and AD&D insurance Paid holidays Accrue 3 weeks annually of paid time off Great work/life balance Casual dress environment Career longevity Professional growth   If you want to be part of an ever-growing company and believe that Midwest Hose & Specialty is the place for you to begin your new career path please apply today!   Summary of Position: Responsible of extruding hose for finishing department.   Roles and Responsibilities:   Ensures all equipment is functioning properly Communicates issues as needed Keep all filters and equipment clean during production runs Properly and safely maintain control of production runs Maintain all product specifications Maintain quality standards checking product for defects and blemishes Accurately document all required information during production of hose temperatures, run speeds, etc. Effectively communicate information to all extruder operators Maintain a clean work environment Other duties as assigned by department or shift supervisor Maintain a safe and comfortable work environment Maintain professionalism in the work place Perform any other assigned proprietary duties QualificationsQualifications and Requirements: Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within sales and management Experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks Attention to detail Ability to retain product knowledge Energetic, outgoing, and positive attitude Good organization skills Reliable and dependable Team-player Ability to prioritize and manage time   Physical Demands: Assist in lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 70 lbs. Standing or walking 100% daily Must be able to meet the physical demands typical in a warehouse environment including but not limited to grasping and fine manipulations with hands, reaching, squatting, climbing, activities working around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to light dust and fumes. Commitment to work additional hours as needed to complete orders received daily   Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED (required) Warehouse experience (required) Prior hose experience (highly preferred but not required)
