Production Helper, 2nd Shift

Experience preferred, however we will train the right person. This is a 2nd shift position with a 4-day (10 hours/day) workweek from Monday thru Thursday, 4pm -2:30am.  Recent base wage increase is ultra-competitive, and there's an additional $1/hour shift differential for this 2nd shift role.

Summary

Production team members will be assigned to work on the Mattress and/or Hybrid lines under the direction of the shift supervisor.  Production team members are expected to work in a manner which promotes safety, quality, and efficiency to meet production goals. 

Role and Responsibilities

1. Follow ALL Safe work practices, LOTO, PPE, JHA’s, etc.
2. Meet all quality standards and customer requirements.
3. Ability to operate machinery.
4. Skill and ability to meet or exceed the production standards.
5. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
6. Maintain an orderly, safe, and clean work area.
7. Use of hand tools, measuring devices, shop equipment.
8. Work well with other employees
9. All other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Previous manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
3. Must be available to work overtime as needed
4. Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
