Automotive Flat Rate Technician – Marin Acura
Elevate Your CareerÂ
Marin Acura has been locally family-owned and operated since 1986. We didn’t become one of the top Acura dealers in the country by accident—we did it by hiring the best technicians and treating them like family.
If you are a professional with a stellar work ethic and a proven track record, this isn't just a job; it’s the last career move you’ll ever need to make.
The Opportunity: High Volume. High Standards. High Rewards.
We are looking for a career-minded Flat Rate Technician to join our elite service team. At Marin Acura, you aren't just "turning wrenches"—you are providing a world-class experience for a loyal client base that expects the best.
What We Offer:
Competitive Flat Rate Pay + Performance Bonus: We reward efficiency and quality. Your earning potential is limited only by your skill and drive.
Paid Training & Certification: We pay for your Acura/Honda factory training to keep you at the top of your game.
Career Pathing: We are a "Promote from Within" shop. We invest in your journey toward Master Technician status.
Full Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Short-Term Disability.
Work-Life Balance: Paid Time Off (PTO) and a stable, family-oriented schedule.
The Perks: Employee New Car Lease Program, parts/service discounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality automotive repairs and maintenance, from sophisticated electronics and engine diagnostics to routine factory-scheduled services.
Execute thorough vehicle inspections to ensure client safety and identify necessary "red-flag" repairs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stall in a fast-paced environment.
Work collaboratively with Service Advisors to provide transparent and accurate repair descriptions.
Stay current on technical bulletins and factory recalls through our paid training programs.
Qualifications:
Proven Track Record: Prior experience as an Automotive Technician (Flat Rate experience preferred). Acura or Honda experience is a significant plus.
The Right Tools: Must possess your own tools to perform repairs efficiently.
Commitment to Excellence: A "fixed-right-the-first-time" mentality and an acute attention to detail.
Technical Savvy: Ability to use modern diagnostic equipment and dealership DMS systems.
Requirements:
Valid in-state driver’s license with a safe, acceptable driving record.
At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
