Insurance Product Manager

We are seeking a seasonedĀ Insurance Product ManagerĀ to lead theĀ end-to-endĀ strategy, development, and execution ofĀ high impactĀ initiatives across multiple personalĀ linesĀ insurance products in ACE markets. In this role, you will ownĀ the insuranceĀ product performance—driving sustainable growth, profitability, and competitive differentiation while ensuring alignment with broaderĀ organizationalĀ objectives.Ā You will continuously evaluate product performance,Ā identifyĀ opportunities for innovation and optimization, and lead initiatives that enhance pricing, underwriting, coverage design, distribution effectiveness, and customer experience.Ā 

The ideal candidate is a strategic andĀ results-orientedĀ leader with extensive insuranceĀ expertiseĀ and strong financial and analytical acumen.Ā You will play a pivotal role in shapingĀ insuranceĀ product direction, influencingĀ cross functionalĀ partners, and leading transformation efforts that strengthen product performance and position our offerings forĀ long-termĀ success.Ā Ā

WhatĀ You’llĀ Do:   

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the development, enhancement, and market positioning of assigned personalĀ linesĀ insuranceĀ products.  

  • ContinuouslyĀ monitorĀ insuranceĀ product performance through key performance indicators such as growth, retention and combined ratio and make data-driven adjustments toĀ maintainĀ profitability and competitiveness.  

  • Oversee and execute strategic projects for assigned product lines, ensuringĀ timelyĀ delivery, cross-functional alignment, and achievement of post-implementation performance goals.  

  • Develop innovative solutions to address market needs, enhance existing products, and introduce new opportunities.  

  • Lead competitive market analysis toĀ identifyĀ trends, opportunities, and emerging risks across ACE markets.  

  • Collaborate acrossĀ departmentsĀ partners like actuarial, underwriting, claims, and distribution teams to drive product line initiatives,Ā monitorĀ progress, communicate results to senior management, and adjust strategies to meetĀ objectives.  

  • Effectively communicate complex product strategies and performance insights to executive leadership, influencing decision-making and gaining alignment on key recommendations and strategic direction.  

  • Collaborate with regulatory teams on filings, approvals, and compliance requirements.  

  

WhatĀ You’llĀ Need:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, management, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.  

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience inĀ insuranceĀ product management, product development, underwriting, claims, or related insurance disciplines.  

  • Advanced knowledge of personalĀ linesĀ insurance products and markets, with proven experience managing product performance, pricing strategies, and regulatory considerations across multiple states or business units.  

  • 1–3 years ofĀ peopleĀ management experience preferred, withĀ proven ability toĀ lead and develop high-performing teams.  

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex initiatives on time, within scope, and aligned to business goals.  

  • Exceptional analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data, extract actionable insights, and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.  

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence, present, and gain alignment from executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.  

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and operational excellence.  

  • Ability to oversee multiple markets simultaneously, managing all aspects of product performance, trends, metrics, and strategic initiatives within assigned portfolios.  

  • ProficiencyĀ in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with data-driven tools, dashboards, and analytic platforms.Ā

The starting pay range for this position is:

$145,900.00 - $194,600.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
