About the Role:

The Warehouse Worker II plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse activities, contributing directly to the smooth flow of goods and materials within the supply chain. This position involves handling, organizing, and processing inventory with accuracy and attention to detail to meet company standards and customer expectations. The role requires collaboration with team members and supervisors to maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment. Warehouse Worker II is responsible for supporting shipping and receiving functions, including loading and unloading shipments, verifying orders, and preparing items for distribution. Ultimately, this position helps optimize warehouse operations to support timely delivery and inventory accuracy, which are essential for overall business success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and inventory.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift operator certification or experience.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company procedures.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and documenting stock movements.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and audits to ensure stock accuracy.
