Gate Attendant - 3:00PM-11:00PM

Overview

Up North Plastics, Inc. a leading plastics manufacturer has an immediate opening for a Gate Attendant at its Cottage Grove, MN location on our 3PM-11PM shift. A successful candidate requires the ability to work operate a computer and communicate well with others.

***Starting Pay: $17.00 ***

Qualifications

• Individual should possess excellent communication skills.
• Individual should possess strong computer skills
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record check

Responsibilities

• Shipment scaling and releasing via computer entry.
• Register all visitors properly and ensure they are sent to proper departments.
• Patrol grounds on foot as well as in a company vehicle as needed.
• Contact police or fire departments in event of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Provide coverage for other gate attendants as needed.
• Complete daily report.
• Communicate with your relief to ensure smooth shift transition.
