PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible to ensure that daily receipts are entered and maintained in the SAP System and that Crude Leases are correct. This role interfaces with on-site and offsite functions (Crude Supply, shipping and receiving, Company Executives, etc.). This role reports directly to the Shipping/Receiving Manager.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Calculates railcar loads to ensure weight restrictions are not exceeded.
  • Ensures that Crude Lease information is current to ensure proper value of materials is determined and proper billing occurs.
  • Uses shipment and weight information to route and bill railcars shipped to customers. 
  • Prepares Rail Switch List.
  • Sends Rail Switch List daily to intended recipients, along with the Emergency response sheet.
  • Checks crude tickets, solvent, distillate, and other feedstocks to calculate totals.
  • Inputs all totals in Feedstock report and sends to the appropriate end-users.
  • Enters crude tickets in SAP.
  • Runs reports and verifies SAP totals. 
  • Copies and sends Crude paperwork to Crude Supply in a timely manner.
  • Completes Tie-out Reports at end of month.
  • Accesses T-Codes in SAP to create deliveries, shipments, and receipts.
  • Creates deliveries for Gas Oil loads and sends out Gas Oil Reports.
  • Communicates with SLOC BOL (Internal Transfers) group when STO’s (Standard Transfer Order) need to be created for Gas Oil movements
  • Communicates with Rail Group, Trucking Group, Internal and External teams for reporting
  • Additional duties as assigned by Management.

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

PREFERENCES:

  • Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in a Shipping and inventory environment. 
  • Proficiency in SAP System 
  • Knowledge of applicable products.
