Now Hiring: Full-Time Physical Therapist

Schedule: Weekdays 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Rotating Weekend & Holiday Coverage
Setting: Outpatient (Weekdays) & Inpatient (Weekends/Holidays)

 Work Schedule Highlights:

  • Weekdays: Outpatient coverage, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Weekends: Inpatient coverage on a rotating basis (every 8–9 weeks)
  • Holidays: Rotating inpatient coverage, excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas

 What You’ll Do:

As a Staff Physical Therapist, you’ll:

  • Review patient charts and perform initial assessments
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and administer therapy
  • Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed
  • Provide patient education and discharge planning
  • Communicate with physicians and the care team to ensure coordinated care

 Additional Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a clinical instructor for PT students, residents, or fellows
  • Maintain licensure through ongoing professional development
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and collaborate on care plans
  • Rotate through treatment areas as needed to support team coverage
  • Document all services and maintain accurate patient records
  • Provide home exercise instructions and education to patients and families
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in in-service training

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Understanding of normal human growth and development across the lifespan.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical records and documentation.
  • Skilled in:
    • Planning and organization
    • Delegation and follow-up
    • Problem-solving and strategic thinking
    • Stress management and self-development
    • Navigating organizational behaviors and competencies
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and support referral growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with healthcare teams, supervisors, and leadership.
  • Active participation in professional healthcare organizations is preferred.
  • May work in areas where medications are stored; no direct contact with medications is permitted.

Licensure, Certifications & Clearances:

  • Active Physical Therapy license in the state of practice is required.
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire, following AHA standards (must include both classroom and hands-on components).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
