Job DetailsJob Location: Convalescent Center - Nespelem, WA 99155Salary Range: $20.34 - $20.34 HourlyClosing Date: OUF Position: Short Notice Laundry Aide Salary: $20.34, per hour Reports to : Facilities Manager Location: Convalescent Center, Nespelem, WA Basic Function: Perform the day-to-day activaties of the laundry department in accordance with current federal, state, local standards, guideline, and regulations of governing the facility. Assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, sage and sanitary manner. Maintain an adequate supply of linen at all times to meet he needs of the facility residents. QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training and Special Requirements High school diploma or GED desired of the applicant. Knowledge of Long-Term Care Laundry practices desired of the applicant. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc. Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 35 pounds to a minimum height of 2 feet and be able to push, pull, move; and/or carry said weight a minimum of 15 feet. Must be able to work independently.. Must be able to successfully clear a Criminal History Background Inquiry that indicates no felony or conviction/s on the DSHS Secretary’s List Knowledge of long-term care setting. Knowledge of laundry requirements in a Long-Term Care setting preferred. NOTE: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, this position is subject to pre-employment, random, post accident and reasonable suspicion drug testing.
