Job DetailsJob Location: Nespelem - Nespelem, WA 99155Salary Range: $25.02 - $29.00 HourlyCLOSING DATE:    September 4, 2026 POSITION:               Office Service Coordinator  SALARY:                   $25.02-$29.00, per hour REPORTS TO:         Department Director LOCATION:               Nespelem, WA    Basic Functions:      This is a Non-Exempt position.Organized, personable, and detail-oriented, coordinates various office tasks and functions to ensure office operations run smoothly at all times. Tasks include, but are not limited to, front desk management, answering phones, maintaining office supplies, and scheduling meetings and appointments. Oversees and performs specialized secretarial and administrative duties, including (but not limited to) transcribing of specialized or technical notes, composing of original documents, administration of office routines and systems, processing of financial transactions, records management, reception and supervision of support staff.  Assists with administrative projects and programs.     BENIFITS: We have excellent benefits including full Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k with employer contributions, Short-and Long- Term disability for Full-Time employees. Generous leave package includes paid holidays, sick leave, and annual leave for Full-Time and Part-Time employees. QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   Education and Training:  Typically requires an Associate’s degree in secretarial science or related business profession and 2 years of experience.   Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be eligible for coverage under the Tribes’ vehicle insurance. May require a first aid card and CPR certification, or  obtain one within 3 months of employment.  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Requires knowledge of the Programs overall objective to be able to perform job duties. Requires working knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment, including filing systems, receptionist and telephone techniques, and letter and report writing. Requires working knowledge of Tribal enterprise and government, department operations, policies, procedures, and calendars. Requires a working knowledge of, and skill at using personal computer based software programs that support this level of work, including but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet, basic presentation graphics, special applications used by the organization unit, and data entry onto custom databases. Requires knowledge or practices, principles and techniques associated with accounting, office administration and records management to assist administration with timely submission of all financial and administrative reports.   Requires knowledge and experience that reflects exceptional administrative assistance skills under pressure in fast paced and sometimes stressful environment. Requires knowledge of tribal and federal agencies’ contracting processes.   Requires knowledge of Tribal Purchasing and Tribal Administrative processes. Requires knowledge of accounting principles and procedures as well as budget planning and maintenance experience. Requires knowledge in the use of general office equipment (copier, fax, calculator, etc.), especially demonstrated competence in computing and software such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Word and Internet. Requires knowledge of proper English usage, grammar, spelling, and punctuation to prepare professional correspondence. Requires knowledge of Tribal enterprises, government, and organization unit services, operations, programs, functions, special terminology used in day-to-day operations, and to relieve others of a variety of administrative details. Requires math skills to perform financial and statistical record keeping. Requires human relations skill to work productively and cooperatively with diverse teams, exercise patience when dealing with internal and external customers, and convey technical concepts. Must have strong written and verbal communications skills, excellent organizations and time management skills, great customer service san interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail, problem solving and basic troubleshooting skills.  Requires the ability to independently perform all of the duties of the position. Requires the ability to accurately take and transcribe notes and/or meeting minutes/recollections. Requires the ability to prepare spreadsheets, graphs and charts, and enter, import, and export data to and from databases. Requires the ability to plan, organize and prioritize work in order to meet schedules and timelines. Requires the ability to communicate with management, staff, and the community using patience and courtesy, and in a manner that reflects positively on the organization unit. Requires demonstrated history of strict confidentiality standards.   Requires ambulatory ability to sit for extended periods of time, to utilize microcomputers and peripheral equipment, accomplish other desktop work, and to move to various office and community locations. Requires the ability to use near vision to read printed materials.   Requires auditory ability to carry on conversations in person and over the phone.   Requires the ability to retrieve work materials from overhead, waist, and ground level files.   Requires manual and finger dexterity to write, use a pointing device and keyboard at an acceptable rate that meets department deadlines and accuracy standards, operate microcomputer, and use other standardized office equipment. Requires the ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. Requires the ability to drive in adverse weather conditions.   Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing.
