Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $115,000–$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to provide professional counseling services to clients throughout Iowa. The focus of this opportunity is direct client care through telehealth, supporting individuals as they work through mental health concerns and develop healthier ways to manage challenges in their daily lives. This position is suited for a counselor who is comfortable working independently, values consistent clinical care, and enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships.

Primary Duties

  • Conduct scheduled virtual counseling sessions with clients
  • Complete psychosocial evaluations and identify areas of clinical focus
  • Establish treatment goals and create individualized care plans
  • Provide support for concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and life transitions
  • Use appropriate counseling approaches based on client needs and progress
  • Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation
  • Review client progress and adjust treatment strategies when needed
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field
  • Active LMHC license
  • At least 1 year of post-licensure counseling experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable providing care in a remote or telehealth setting
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a professional home office environment
