  • Communicate directly with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, order confirmations, delivery schedules, lead times, and material requirements.
  • Proactively identify and address potential material shortages, delivery delays, discrepancies, and other supply risks that could impact manufacturing operations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand material requirements and purchasing priorities based on manufacturing and operational needs.
  • Support supplier negotiations and identify opportunities to improve cost, service, lead times, and supply reliability.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice, purchase order, and receipt discrepancies.

  • Track procurement activities and supplier performance and contribute to reporting, spend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support additional site procurement and inventory programs as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Laboratory Operations, and other site functions.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree with approximately 5–8 years of relevant procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or sourcing experience; Associate's degree with 8–10+ years of relevant experience; or high school diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated experience working directly with suppliers, including RFQs, pricing, order management, lead times, and delivery coordination.
  • Strong understanding of purchase requisition and purchase order processes.
