We are seeking an AV & Setup Technician responsible for providing hospitality services during meetings and conferences, addressing all facilities and technology needs, and ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment. This role includes preparation, setup, and support for various technological needs, with the possibility of taking on leadership responsibilities.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Meeting Preparation: Review prep sheets and plans for upcoming conferences and meetings.
- Room Setup: Prepare meeting rooms, including cleaning and setting up equipment, tables, chairs, and other work areas.
- Technology Support: Prepare for and provide support for technological needs, including video conferencing, A/V, and connectivity.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping or maintenance preferred.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment, hardware, televisions, software, and internet connectivity.
- Abilities: Must be able to work independently and perform physical tasks such as cleaning, moving furniture and equipment, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a hotel/conference center setting and handle extended hours as needed.
