HB NEXT is seeking a dependable and motivated Utility Field Technician for a temporary assignment supporting utility and field operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, traveling to job sites, and being part of a team that helps keep projects running safely and efficiently.Â
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of electrical meters and yard lights to identify hazards and signs of tampering.
- Walk for extended periods as required by daily inspection duties.
- Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Develop the ability to safely work with low-voltage electricity on HVAC units.
- Document any potential deficiencies for review and follow-up.
- Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment, including hard hat, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and appropriate work clothing.
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
