The Role

Join Fidelity’s Stock Plan Services team and lead the transformation and conversion of client data. As a Data Conversion Manager, you’ll play a critical role in onboarding clients and ensuring seamless integration into our equity compensation platform. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact client success.

  • Manage the end-to-end data conversion process from requirements gathering to successful production load
  • Build strong partnerships with business partners, clients, and third-party vendors
  • Effectively balance multiple assignments and priorities
  • Communicate project status and technology issues to sponsors, stakeholders, and senior management
  • Collaborate with Workplace Investing management teams and business partners to share approaches, develop solutions, and improve capabilities

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 1-3 years of project coordination and delivery experience
  • Client-facing experience
  • Equity compensation knowledge preferred
  • Experience with Mainframe and Systems Development Life Cycle
  • BS/BA Degree, Business Management or Computer Science preferred
  • Proven project management and process skills within data-centric projects
  • Confident presence in front of clients and key business partners
  • Strong data analysis capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools
  • Critical thinker with sound decision-making skills
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to assimilate information quickly
  • Demonstrates adaptability in dynamic environments
  • Ability to work independently

The Team

The Data Conversion Manager is part of the Stock Plan Services Implementation Team responsible for the conversion of client data as well as file feed integration onto the SPS platform. The team supports both new client implementations and ongoing changes (conversions, mergers, spinoffs, payroll conversions), working in a collaborative and innovative environment. The Data Conversion Manager manages projects in the emerging mid and large market segment related to file feeds, plan adds and new business projects.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
