Overview

General Dentist (DDS/DMD) – Join a Growing Practice | Full-Time or Part-Time

Schedule: 2-4 days per week

• Monday-Thursday 8.30a-4:30p
• Friday 8.30a-1p

This opportunity is ideal for a dentist who enjoys high‑quality, everyday family dentistry—exams, restorative care, crowns, preventive services, and straightforward extractions—while building long‑term relationships with a loyal patient base. You’ll have full autonomy to practice comfortably within your current skill set, with no pressure to perform procedures outside your comfort zone.

For dentists who do have interest in expanding their scope, the practice also offers advanced services such as cosmetic dentistry, implants, sleep apnea, and TMJ therapy. Our experienced team of doctors within Star Dental Partners provide support, mentorship, and optional exposure to more advanced care, allowing you to grow at your own pace if and when you’re ready.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry with full autonomy, including the option to perform advanced procedures.
• Deliver exceptional patient care and build strong patient relationships
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Lead and collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate records and comply with safety protocols

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Active and unrestricted Louisiana dental license (or ability to obtain)

• BLS, DEA and any applicable certifications

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience 

• Unable to offer visa sponsorship

Practice Description

• General dentistry and preventive care
• Cosmetic services such as veneers, teeth whitening, and smile enhancements
• Implant placement and restorations
• Oral surgery procedures including extractions
• Advanced restorative and prosthodontic treatments
• Botox and  Juvederm treatments
• Invisalign clear aligners
• Treatment for TMJ disorders, headaches, and sleep apnea
