Job Description
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate movement of products within the distribution center.
Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
Transport palletized product within the distribution center (unload, put away double deep, bulk and full pallet pick, load, replenishment)
Operate material handling equipment, including high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.
Use RF Scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products throughout the site.
Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks.
Follow site safety procedures, including required PPE (safety vest, safety shoes).
Cross train and become knowledgeable in other areas. Provide backup support when required.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
1 year of relevant experience, required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.
Intermediate experience with either a high reach or counterbalance required.
Experience with Manhattan WMS, preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 2 days of employment.
Ability to read and interpret distribution documents in English.
Ability to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
General distribution knowledge.
Basic computer skills.
Strong initiative and drive for results.

The job may require lifting over 50lbs in some areas but not all. Associate must have normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and must have hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE [Material Handling Equipment] in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
