The maintenance role is a working position responsible for performing duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.

Maintains, services and performs repairs on equipment in order to ensure proper operation of production equipment and electrical systems. Maintenance work may be elevated up to 200’.
- Performs equipment adjustments and repairs, preventative maintenance troubleshooting and emergency breakdowns. Performs specific duties during both production and non-production hours in a timely manner with OSHA Lockout/Tagout and Company safety regulations. This equipment includes the following: loaders, excavators, forklifts, skid steers, belt conveyors, drag conveyors, screw conveyors, pneumatic conveyors, dust collection systems and bucket elevators.
- Assist in providing housekeeping services at the facility. This will include but is not limited to cleaning all areas of the structures as well as all outside areas. The position will maintain a safe environment at all times and report any unsafe practices or potential hazards to the Facility Manager at the first opportunity.
- Maintain high level of maintenance and chemical storage records for organic food grade facility and keep MSDS updated at least monthly for compliance.Â
Minimum
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug and alcohol testing.
- This is a full time job requires occasional overtime; frequent overtime during harvest seasons.
- Ability to work in various climates and weather conditions. Conditions can include: hot summer temperatures (90 – 120 degrees), humidity (0 - 100%), cold winter temperatures (below freezing – subzero) and windy conditions (in excess of 40 MPH).
- Must be able to work in an environment with high levels of grain dust.
- Must be able to bend and reach in normal range of movement.
- Must be able to lift to frequently lift 10 lbs and up to 50 pounds several times per day.
- Must be able to remain standing on hard surfaces for long periods of time.
- Must be able to climb ladders of various heights.
- Must be able to carry tools and equipment.
- Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
- Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor at times in excess of two hours.
- Must be able to wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (i.e. hardhat, safety glasses, respirators, etc.)
- Ability to travel to remote AgriBusiness facilities.
Preferred
- Prior experience working at a grain handling facility.Â
