To perform, coordinate, train and supervise staff of the Serology Unit of the Molecular Virology and Sequencing Core (MVSC) laboratory, as well as to liaise with the Quality Assurance (QA) program, students/post docs, collaborators, and visitors in completion of experimental studies for the Serology Unit of the MVSC. The position will include managerial oversight for performance of experimental assays under BSL-2 laboratory conditions, detailed documentation in coordination with QA guidelines, data analysis, and summaries of research data into charts and reports. The position will also oversee inventory such as reagents, supplies, and stocks for use in experiments as well as samples and equipment inventory and maintenance. The position will be responsible for preparation of and assurance that regulatory documents including but not limited to OSHA, Tulane OEHS, TNBRC Biosafety.
