JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
JOB SUMMARY:Â
Provides services to diagnose and treat patients for wound care and hyperbaric medicine. Coordinates care with referring physicians and collaborates with other providers. Provides input in the development of standards of care. Ensures the adequacy of treatment for all persons served through policy and procedure review, protocol development, and clinical oversight of the delivery of care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Â
- Must be licensed by the Louisiana State board of Medical Examiners  Â
- Proof of Hyperbaric Training in accordance with the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) and/or National Board of Diving & Hyperbaric Medical Technology (NBDHMT).
- Current BLS, and ACLS certifications through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross. The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off.
- Provision of training, supervision, consultation, and education to staff and physicians.
- Participation in performance improvement, outcomes management and quality and safety activities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 20 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
