POSITION SUMMARY
Capable of performing work as assigned and mentored by a Design Engineer, Lead Engineer, Project Engineer or Manager. Engineers usually design single elements (e.g. an instrument, a control panel, a wiring diagram, etc.)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Develop understanding of client, industry, regulatory and other guidelines, codes, etc.
- Work toward having ability for developing engineering calculations using scope and criteria provided, with minimal direction.
- Work toward having ability for designing systems.
- Prepare design calculations as directed for criteria provided.
- Perform other technical assignments as directed.
- Work toward developing ability to coordinate efforts of drafting.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (four year college or university)
Experience : 0 - 2 years related experience
Computer Skills : Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel
Certificates & Licenses : Willingness to take Fundamentals of Engineering exam (FE) and to pursue Professional Engineering License in the future.
