CNC Machine Operator- 2nd shift

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour plus shift differential 

M-Th 3:15pm-1:45am

Job description:

JIT Manufacturing, a precision metal fabricator, is seeking a skilled CNC Operator. This role is vital to our production process, as you will operate advanced CNC equipment to cut metal components to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC equipment to process metal components according to engineering drawings and specification
• Set up and adjust machine parameters, including selecting appropriate materials, programs, and settings.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making necessary adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of lasers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating CNC machinery preferred but not required.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
• Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
