What We're Looking For
Our Cowpens, South Carolina team is looking for an Operations Administrator who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys supporting both operations and customer service in a manufacturing environment.
The typical hours for the role are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.Â
What You'll Do
Operations Support:- Create and receipt manufacturing batch tickets within the ERP system.
- Print labels for product containers.
- Verify inventory availability for orders received from Customer Service.
- Prepare and appropriately distribute documents for customer deliveries, which may include Bill of Ladings, Safety Data Sheets, and Certificates of Analysis.
- Manage incoming phone calls to provide support to internal customers.
- Receipt incoming Purchase Orders into the ERP system.
- Frequent collaboration with operations personnel to resolve discrepancies.
- Work with leadership and quality to manage slow-moving inventory.
Customer Service Support:
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
- Maintain customer accounts by entering information within the ERP system.
- Manage incoming phone calls and orders received via email.
- Process orders within the ERP system.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments (quality, operations, and sales) to develop a service plan and resolve any service failures.
- Assist sales professionals with various administrative functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Candidates Should Possess
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and general computer applications.
- Experience working with ERP systems is preferred.
- Previous administrative, customer service, or manufacturing support experience is a plus.
