Licensed Family Therapist – Residential Treatment

Location: Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania
Job Type: Full-Time (In-person) 
Pay: Starting at $80,000

Hours: 11am-7pm 


Overview

Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is opening a new female residential behavioral health facility in Cranberry Township, PA and is seeking a skilled Licensed Family Therapist to join our clinical team.

This role provides the opportunity to deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based care while supporting adolescents and their families in achieving long-term emotional and behavioral success.

Position Summary

The Licensed Family Therapist provides family therapy, assessments, and treatment planning within a residential treatment setting. This role focuses on strengthening family systems, improving communication, and supporting successful long-term outcomes through evidence-based and culturally responsive care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide family therapy and group counseling to clients and their families
  • Conduct clinical assessments and provide diagnostic recommendations
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Present clinical information to treatment teams, families, and referral sources
  • Support the safety and well-being of youth in placement
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
  • Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and ongoing training
  • Assist with therapeutic, recreational, and educational programming


Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related clinical field
  • Active Pennsylvania clinical license (LMFT, LCSW, or LPC)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in child or adolescent behavioral health
  • Experience providing family therapy and working with family systems
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in residential or intensive treatment settings
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed and culturally responsive care

  • Commitment to ethical clinical practice and documentation standards
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Cranberry Township, PA
