What You’ll Do

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close process. You’ll own key accounting functions including fixed assets, purchasing oversight, and complex journal entries while partnering cross-functionally to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

You’ll drive impact by:

• Managing and maintaining the fixed asset system, including asset tracking, inventory, and depreciation
• Preparing and recording month-end journal entries related to leases, prepaids, payroll, accruals, and other complex accounts
• Overseeing the purchasing and PO process, including invoice entry and identifying process improvement opportunities
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate accounting for capital and operating expenditures
• Supporting personal property tax compliance by assisting with reconciliations and coordinating with external tax advisors
• Recommending and implementing improvements to accounting procedures and internal controls
• Supporting audits, ad hoc financial analyses, and providing backup support to the Accounting & Tax Manager

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems
• Direct experience with fixed asset accounting and maintenance
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred:

• Experience supporting audits and working with external advisors
• Background in capital-intensive or healthcare-related environments
• Demonstrated ability to improve accounting processes and controls
