Principal Electrical Engineer

About the role:

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will use your electrical engineering expertise to lead a team in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.

You will report to the Manager of Electrical Engineering. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with regular on-site collaboration at either our Rock Hill, SC or Cranberry Township, PA location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop further technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets.
• Resolve critical electrical engineering issues affecting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.
• Involved in the design and operation of pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power plants
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to communicate a variety of issues: project status, problem resolution, electrical engineering recommendations
• Maintain a positive business relationship with Westinghouse customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required
• 10+ years of related electrical engineering experience
• Technical Design and Analysis experience
• Engineering software experience
• Must value safety and quality
• Engineering in Training and Professional Engineer license

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $103,200 to $129,000 per year.
